This map shows my planned route. On 5th May I'll set off from Cardiff Bay, walking west (clockwise) with the sea on my left for 634 miles until I reach Caernarfon.

If I'm on schedule, I'll then take an inland detour via Llanberis to Pen-y-Pass, ready to climb Wales' highest peak, Snowdon, before returning to Caernarfon via Waunfawr.

Then I'll cross the Menai Bridge to complete an anti-clockwise circuit of Anglesey with the sea on the right for a change! I'll return to Caernarfon to pick up my clockwise circuit along the North Wales coast, passing through Prestatyn and continuing to Chester.

889 miles in, I'll scoot back to Prestatyn and once again leave the sea behind, following the Offa's Dyke trail south for 178 miles to Sedbury Cliffs near Chepstow.

Finally, I'll rejoin the South Wales coast for the 46-mile home leg to Cardiff Bay.

Clicking any point on the blue line will show which segment and walking day it belongs to.
