Day 11 - Ferryside to Llansteffan

On what may turn out to be the most disheartening day of the whole walk, I'll cover 17 miles and climb nearly 1600 ft, but end up back at sea level and barely half a mile from where I started! On Day 11 I'll track several miles inland along the east bank of the Towy to Camarthen. After crossing the river I'll then return through the low hills along the west bank to finish directly opposite Ferryside at Llansteffan.
Distance: 17.3 miles / 27.84 km
Ascent: 1590 feet / 485 m
